Headmaster's House
Marin County, California

Nestled amongst trees and overlooking San Francisco Bay, this house was updated to graciously accommodate school functions. A new addition containing the front entry and stairs to the second floor provides a more prominent street façade. Replacement of the existing stairs with a double-height entry hall opens up the center of the house, facilitating movement between the main entertaining spaces and providing access to the rear patio.
